About Us

Our Governance

Bright Futures North West Early Years Stronger Practice Hub has a significant role in bringing together and mobilising the Early Years sector across the North West, developing a shared language and understanding of evidence-informed practice led by the system itself.

Bright Futures North West Early Years Stronger Practice Hub supports settings to adopt evidence-informed practice improvements – in line with the framework developed for the programme by the Education Endowment Foundation, as well as with the:

  • Reformed Early Years Foundation Stage, Development Matters
  • DfE’s help for early years providers website
  • Early Years Leadership NPQ framework
  • DfE’s Professional Development Programme
  • other strands of the Early Years Recovery Programme

Bright Futures North West Early Years Stronger Practice Hub does this by:

  • Establishing local networks of settings to share knowledge and effective Practice
  • Proactively sharing information and advice on evidence-informed approaches, for example, through newsletters, blogs, events, network webinars and social media
  • Acting as a point of contact for bespoke advice, and signposting/referring to other funded support
  • Working with the Education Endowment Foundation to select evidence-based programmes to fund and make available to settings

The Partnership Advisory Group sits alongside and supports the Governance of the Bright Futures Early Years Stronger Practice Hub. The Partnership Advisory Group brings all of the key stakeholders of the Bright Futures Early Years Stronger Practice Hub together to discuss the key issues relating to the functioning of the Early Years Hub and how effectively we are achieving our objectives from a stakeholder perspective. Bright Futures Early Years Stronger Practice Hub uses the feedback from the Group to support its own monitoring processes and to ensure that stakeholder voices are heard in their decision making.
